New Partnership - Press Release

17/04/2010 15:00

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EDMONTON (April 17, 2010) - Floorball Galaxy.com is excited to present a brand new website partnership.

The website has teamed up with another North American news blog, Floorball Hockey U to bring you exclusive news, interviews, and other floorball information as the floorball universe expands every day. This partnership will provide in-depth analysis of floorball happenings in both Canada and the United States, and will help strengthen the bond between floorball in the two countries. As well, it will work in part with the Can-Am United FC project, which is another North American floorball initiative.

Editor-in-chief of Floorball Galaxy.com, Andrzej Zadora, had this to say about this exciting new partnership:

The partnership between both Floorball Hockey U and Floorball Galaxy.com will be a great example for other nations in the floorball world to start combining their efforts in order to bring universality between the sport. With such initiatives like this and other projects such as Can-Am United FC, the steps towards eventually creating a North American floorball union, similar to that of the Asia/Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC), will be well underway. With floorball officially existing on this continent for almost 20 years now, it is imparative that opportunities like this are taken advantage of and used to everyone's benefit. I hope that our shared posts will reach a wider range of individuals and will speed the development of floorball across both North America and the world.

As well, Founder of Floorball Hockey U, Michael Borg, also gave a statement on his website:

Since we think it is a good thing to play together with as many players as possible to bring Floorball to the masses, we will join their [Floorball Galaxy.com's] efforts to bring Floorball closer to USA and North America.

The creation of this joint web floorball project will create a window to share North American floorball news and stories all across the world to a larger audience. With the Canada Cup soon approaching, the amount of information being provided and used by both sites will be only healthy to the development of the sport.
